What are dried and & preserved florals?

Dried flowers are fresh flowers that have had their moisture removed through dehydration and preserved flowers have had the moisture in the flowers and foliage replaced with glycerin. This makes them look and feel more like fresh flowers. Due to the processes above, if you are allergic to flowers you can enjoy dried or preserved flowers since they no longer contain pollen.

How long do they last for?

Depending on how they are stored and cared for, the florals can last from 1 to 3 years. From my own experience, if they are not touched and kept in a dry environment away from direct sunlight, they can last for more than 3 years.

How do we take care of the floral arrangements?

• Do not water and keep dry
• During winter or rainy days, keep away from windows or moist environments
• Handle with care as petals can be delicate and ferns may shed
• Keep away from a lit candle
• To remove dust, use a hair dryer on low with no heat or lightly feather dust
